Raspberry Slushies? Yes, Please

Am I the only one in Virginia who still thinks it is August? Even though I'm seeing pumpkins, apple cider, fall clothing, and let's not forget the infamous PSL, it is still summer. So in the meantime, I'm going to continue enjoying the warm weather and visit wineries. Fun fact: Virginia has more than 250 wineries. I recently went to one this past weekend called Bluemont Vineyard with my friend Brittany. She had been raving about this spot and I wanted to check it out. Let's just say they have a beautiful view and they were serving raspberry slushies that day. Yum! They are always changing up their flavors for their slushies and they only have them during the summer. This past weekend was their last day for slushies. Now, they will be serving sangria, which isn't a bad option! It was nice to get away from the city and head on out to the country where all you see is nature around you.
